The next couple days were spent with the time machine off to enjoy the clear weather atop the ship, and to allow Roger's skeleton crew to go about widening the doorframes a few inches so that Aurora could fit though, and knocking out a wall between two rooms. Kalia, raised by a people who were close to Sylvans, spent a great deal of time about the ship topless, and pretty much shrugged off any comments about it. Not all of her clothes were tribal wear, however.

Kai and Crystal were apparently orphans, and he had looked out for her until she was picked up by a university for her arcane aptitude.

Kai and Kalia were said to not be romantically involved but are clearly... together. This doesn't stop Kai from flirting with Marcy, nor Kalia from a little more forwardly hitting on Luc.

Roger asks Aurora to maybe not talk about him to her father since he was kinda not on great terms with him in the way way past and it didn't matter anymore since he was bound to Kai's service now anyway but it's probably best you don't mention me to him.

Troy and Aurora get along particularly well, being the intellectuals of the group.

[Aurora the Dragon]

Aurora spent most of her time on the ship in human form, but preferred to eat and sleep in her true dragon form. She would have liked to use the human form less, but it was just so much more convenient to walk around the ship as a human. On one particular afternoon, she came to Troy in her natural form and presented him the amulet while he was working in his study.

"Now, Troy, I know this will be very uncomfortable, but would you mind testing my amulet? I want to get a better understanding of its effects. It's very hard to watch myself when I use it because even with a mirror the shock and slight pain of it prevent me from focusing. I assure you it's entirely safe, and if it gets too painful all you have to do is will it to stop and it will. I know it's kind of a lot to ask, but I really want to observe this."

Troy is very resistant at first, but realizes he's too curious. "My curiosity will get me killed one day I assure you."

He finds it less painful than Aurora did, being a fundamentally humanoid anatomy, but the sex change especially through him for a loop. He finds it much harder to keep it active, however, having much less experience with magical items.

[Aurora the Dragon]

Aurora smiles and carefully takes notes on everything. She has him do it more than once so she can get more information. After about an hour of various test and studies, Aurora closes her notebook with a big dragon smile on her face. "Thank you so much for doing this for me, Troy. This will really help in my studies so maybe I can one day make an amulet like that."

Other then a slight gasp of surprise, Marceline quickly accustoms to Kalia's topless wardrobe nature. After witnessing her forward nature with Luc, she also doesn't mind flirting back with Kai. It, however, isn't tuesday and she tends to stop at light flirting. Treating Kai much in the same way she treats Luc.

Currently, dressed in short shorts, a black bikini top and her new wide brimmed hat she is happily lounging about on the deck of the ship. Absentmindedly she plays with her blood, creating various figures and making them fight for her amusement. Much like a child with his actions figures.

Troy rubs his forehead. "Playing Dragon's Guinea pig now..." he whispers to himself.

Kai doesn't push past light flirting either, picking up on Marcy's current intent to stop there. He takes a seat in the sun beside Marcy. "Having fun?"

[Marceline Mori]

With a grin as she makes one of the figures decapitate the other with a oversized axe, Marcy looks up from her game to Kai.
"Yup! Violence becomes really fun when no one is actually getting hurt. Plus, I get to practice my fine manipulation skills..."
Marceline tries to turn the little standing blood man into several wheels of blood dancing in between each other, like a small scale water show.
"Gets kinda sad playing alone though. Sometimes I can get Luc to make little water guys and we can see if blood beats water, but hes busy right now doing whatever that lay-about is doing."

[Aurora the Dragon]

Aurora puts her amulet back on and then realizes she is now completely naked in front of Troy. "Whoops!" she says as she quickly takes it off.

"You know that form has taken on a whole new sense of artificiality to me now that I've worn it too. Wow that's an odd thought..."

Kai chuckles. "Say, I have totally forgotten to ask so far, but do you know where Luc gets his powers? I suppose I should probably ask him," he glances around, then looks back at Marcy. "Would it be impolite to ask where you got yours?"

[Marceline Mori]

"Luc's biz is Luc's biz, so I'd ask him. Now, me personally? That depends, what powers are you asking about? My stunning good looks? My mastery of all things alcoholic? My mystical singing voice?
Marceline shifts the dancing blood into a dragon, and tries to make it fly around Kai and herself.

"Well, I WAS referring to your looks, but I don't think I've had the pleasure of hearing you sing."

[Marceline Mori]

Marceline lets out a hearty laugh.
"Oh, you'll need to get me drunk if you want to hear that. Most people run away when I start singing. I haven't even sung around Luc yet, don't want to scare him. As for the looks, well.."
Marceline simply makes the blood dragon playfully bop Kai on the nose, then land on her belly and curl down like a cat.
Incoming Charles in three, two...
"Blood is wonderful for a girls complexion."

Suddenly Charles leaps out from no where in paticular and tries to chase away the blood dragon to claim its spot.

[Marceline Mori]

The blood dragon roars up on its back legs, and attempts to fend off the monster attacking it.

Unimpressed, Charles barrels into the beast.

[Marceline Mori]

The dragon attempts to take to the sky, flying around the black abomination and hoping to attack from behind.

[Author]

Charles curls up on Marcy's stomach, and as the dragon swoops in from behind he thwacks it with his impossibly strong tail.

[Marceline Mori]

The dragon explodes, showering Marcy pale stomach in blood. She however keeps all of it from hitting Charles. She reaches down one hand and casually pets her pussy cat.

"Isn't he so adorable?"

[Author]

"...yes. Where did you find him?"

[Marceline Mori]

"Ummm... I didn't. He found me after I picked up this thing."
Marceline raises up and shakes her right arm.
"I just woke up one day in my bed, with him on my lap. And now, whatever happens I wake up each day with this little guy."

[Author]

Kai looks at the gauntlet. Then at Charles. Then at the gauntlet. Then at Charles.
"So he's like, some kind of familiar attached to the gauntlet?"

[Marceline Mori]

"It was more, like, a week or so after I grabbed this. So... maybe?"
Marcy continues to pet Charles, using her right arm.

[Aurora the Dragon]

"So, what are you working on before I came in here, anyway?" Aurora asks Troy as she fishes her clothes out of her bags.

[Marceline Mori]

Marceline arches her back in order to shamelessly give Kai a better view of her breasts, then looks at him inquisitorially.
"So... When do we get adventure? I'm kinda itching for a fight here, maybe a bit of blood. Just some general violence and mayhem."

Kai takes in Marcy's form as she extenuates it. "Well, I guess if you're really lucky we'll be attacked by barbarian tigers from the south. We will be sailing through the straight between the tundra and the Wolven lands.
