Scene B (Side scene) - The Night Owl Empty Scene B (Side scene) - The Night Owl

Afternoon had turned to evening and the group dispersed from the bar. Mori had her bath and Tracy made sure to be in need of one. The Rusty Dog was a rowdy dockside bar, but not an Inn, so the party stayed at The Night Owl. It was late in the morning as Tracy stumbled downstairs to the smell of breakfast.

Tracy's head pounds as she heads down towards the smell of warm food. She hadn't woken up next to anyone this morning, so it didn't seem like a fun night could explain her hangover. She can't remember why she drank so much, but there's some blurry recollection of a new adventure. Everything is so cloudy though, so she can't tell if it was just a dream or not. At least this is better than that time with the pineapple. Eugh, she shudders just thinking about that one. She comes out into the dining area and looks around to see if anyone she recognizes is eating already.

Mori, dressed in a thin light green cloth shirt and black breeches, sits at a table across from Troy. Both are engaged in thought and stating intently at a chessboard before them. Mori rest her elbow in her left hand and strokes her chin with the right, which is wrapped by bandages up to her elbow. Strangely, her chess pieces are Green and Troy's are Gold.

"...Pawn to E7." She says. Suddenly both pieces animate, the pawn whipping out a pitchfork from nowhere and impaling one of Troy's knight on its end. It tosses the knight onto the ground beside it and steps into the Knights space.

Tracy, happy to see at least one friendly face, walks over and sits down at the table with Mori and Troy. "Morning, Mori. I am so disappointed that you and Luc let me get drunk and not wake up with a random stranger in my bed. Speaking of strangers, who's the bullhead?"

Mori shoots Tracy a dirty look at her last comment then looks back to the board.
"Sober Tracy, Troy. Troy, Sober Tracy. Somehow it seems that Drunk Tracy had better manners."

"Woah there. I didn't mean anything by it. He literally has a bull head. It's like how I sometimes call Luc the batman," she says before looking at Troy. "Sorry if you took offense. I vaguely remember your face now. Last night is a bit of a blur."

"A what now? Huh... let me check something," she begins rifling through her bag, a look of dismay crossing her face as she finds what she's looking for. "Oh, no. I didn't."

Tracy pulls out the note she'd written to herself last night and reads it before audibly groaning. "Oh gods, why? Fuck Drunk Me. Drunk Me is a cunt," she says as she crumples up the note and throws it to the ground. "Alright then. Now I know what's up. Yes, I'm ready to go to Leomun's cove. Then I need Mori to make a promise to punch Drunk Me next time I get drunk."

"You mean the wolf? Details are still a bit fuzzy. All the note said is that she is odd and i have no idea what to do about her."

Troy laughs. "Yeah, she's... Sardonic... But a fun loving sort it seems. Apparently drunk you can't reorient past racial stereotypes."

Mori frowns as a wizard zaps her bishop to smoldering bits. A green floating hand materializes above the board and removes a small token with the bishop symbol marked on it and tosses the token into a pile with other fallen tokens. "Rook to E6" She replies.
