"Aw," Kai says, stepping over and petting Charles, "Aren't you just the cutest... whatever you are. Come with a lot of mysteries, don't you Marcy?"

"So," Kalia says, "We have the Dhampir. Who else here have you recruited?"

"Mm, all of them."

"Including the bat?" she asks, eyeing Luc.

"Including the bat."

"Well, I believe introductions are in order then."

"I'm Aurora!" Aurora says holding out her claw to Kalia. "I'm here to have an adventure. I grew up here in this city, though mostly in my father's library. His name is Aristotle. You may have heard of him. Apparently he's quite famous. I'm not sure why though. To me he's just dad."

Kalia shakes her... hand. "So, you are the great dragon's daughter. I am Kalia, Kai and I have been adventuring partners for some time. Sometimes I wonder what he ever did without me..." she says, glancing at Kai.

Kai scoffs. "Not have to deal with your crap, for one," he responds. Kalia chuckles.

Marcy stands up and does her best to wipe away the blood on her throat and mouth, which does little more then smear it over her. She then wipes the blood on her hands off with her thigh and stretches out her right hand to Kalia.
"Names Marceline, pleasure to meet you. Sorry for the appearance, i'm not half naked and covered in blood all that often."

"A special day for indecency? You are a strange one-" Kalia's eyes fix on Marcy's gauntlet. Her hand still wrapped around Marcy's, Kalia pulls the back of Marcy's hand up to her face, inspecting the gauntlet closely. She sniffs it, then after a few seconds her eyes flick up to Marcy's. "Why it this fused to your hand?"

"Dunno. Was doing a job, clearing out a temple. The entire thing had shady business written all over it. When I saw the gauntlet I thought it looked shiny, and I like shiny things, so I said 'Fuck this job, I want that.' So I snagged it and ran off."
Marcy pauses, looks to the ashen bodies around and raises her eyebrows in a somewhat exhausted expression. "Looks like I'm still running."

Kalia releases her grip (a very impressive grip) and looks around the room as well, just as some of the assassin's armor and weapons begin to likewise crumble to ash. "Dhey were after dhat, dhen? sounds like having you aboard would be a danger to us all," she says wearily.

Cedric pipes up, "Thank Sol someone agrees with-"

Kalia snaps her head back to face Marcy, and smiles. "I like it."

Cedric buries his face in his paws.

"You seem awfully enamored on the whole 'danger' aspect of our cruise. I mean, I'm not trying to ruin your parade, but you do realize there's more to an adventure than fights, right? New foods, exotic scenery, colorful people, taking in the sights... um, new food..."
Luc glances behind himself; the steak still had some time left, he could afford to chat with the new face.
"Anyhow, name's Luc, pleasure's all mine. Looks like I'll be keeping everyone here fed for awhile."

Kai looks up from petting Charles. "Nothing gets in the way of your cooking, hm?"

Luc flashes Kai a smile.
"What can I say, you have to enjoy life's simple pleasures. Everyone needs to eat, no reason not to make the best of it. Besides, I'm technically still at work, and I personally get hungry after a fight."
Looking around at the wreckage, his eye catches the extra body that wasn't here a few minutes ago.
"Ah, I see you caught the last one! Good, I was wondering where he ran off to."

Marceline sighs deeply then sits her ass at the bar and leans on one arm. With a innocent, pouty face she looks at Luc.
"Think you could cook something up for your ol' pal Marcy? All the violence and wine has made me hungry."

Marcy raises her hand sharply into the air, to emphasize her point.

Kai sits upon the bar. "'Fraid we need to get out of town pretty quick if we've got people chasing us. However," he turns to Aurora, "I was hoping I might meet your father."

Luc's probably bigger. He is a larger person after all, but Kai moved pretty quickly during battle... wonder how well that can translate to the sheets... Now Kalia. She's clearly a dominatrix. I mean, all those chains? And the tight leather outfit? Dominating personality? Way she acts towards Kai? Will need to try and spy on them during the night. Bleh, this bar is getting boring. I should go find something to do.
"Hey Luc, could you make mine to go? I'm going to go poke around town for a bit then start moving stuff from our apartment onto the boat." Marcy stands up from the bar, well attempts to stand up but wobbles a bit while doing so. Once the difficult journey from barstool to feet on the ground is finished, she walks over until shes about 10 feet away from a waste basket.
"Hey guys, wanna see something cool?"

"We can meet my dad if you want to. He's used to visitors. We get them a lot. It'll take a while to get there though. If we wanted to do it faster, and you're the only one that want to see him, I could fly you to his tower faster than we could all walk there."

When Marcy announces her outing, Luc gives her a flat look, adopting a somewhat bored-sounding tone.
"Nah, no you aren't. Not alone at least, and maybe not until you get some water and carbs in you, capiche?"
As she starts shambling towards the waste basket, he simply sighs. Instead of watching her little trick, he pull out a glass from behind the bar and fills it with water from the tap. He then directs his free hand at it and flips the cup upside down; instead of the drink pouring out, it suspends itself in the air with glass in tow, which then floats its way over to the dhampir with a wave of his hand. She'd... need it even more in a moment.
